this vessel has a friction fit lid not threaded, so if you plan to place something inside, please note that they would be best suited for things other than something that you may want permanently sealed such as ashes. You are of course welcome to contain anything you please - but since ashes are such a significant thing, I felt it was important to mention. I am looking into options for a permanent seal, but it requires a bit more time and testing before sharing something like that with you fine folks.
